Finalist!...and Congratulations!
"Ye most Excellent and Adventuresome True Historie of Yorick" was a finalist at the Armageddon Expo in Auckland, New Zealand! I followed the long-weekend event through their Facebook posts and it looked like a really incredible time. I can't imagine the planning and organization that would go in to such a huge event. Thank you so much, folks, for considering my little film!...and big congratulations to the winners of the film festival:
1st - The Molecular Biologist by Daniel Radbolt
2nd - Incoming Call by Eoin Cleland
3rd - Maria Fernanda in Time by Xavier Pijuan
In other news, "The Voyage of the Golden Hind-er" is proceeding on schedule. Technically it is so much more advanced than "True Historie" and has been a huge learning curve, but a really, really enjoyable one. Coming out in November if things continue as they are. It can be considered Part 2 to "True Historie", but can stand on its own as a separate entity as well, thanks in part to the "Synopsisizer" (top secret invention).
