Tuesday musings - Changes!

If you have visited this site in the last day or so, you will have noticed that it seems to be morphing rapidly! In an effort to make it more mobile-friendly, I am revamping the entire thing. The original template's mobile version made for a very unwieldy and frustrating experience for those accessing it via phone or tablet; hopefully the new version will play nicer. While I haven't the skills to make it fully responsive yet (though I might play with this in the next couple of days), the sizes of both the main page and sidebar (now on the left) will display fully on desktops and most laptops, with the sidebar hidden but accessible via the usual three-bar button on phones and tabs. So far I've tested it on several desktops, laptop, iPad, iPhone and Android phone and things seem to be working as I want. All of the makeover should be done in a couple of days, so I appreciate your patience!!! Fingers crossed, it will make for a much smoother experience for everyone.

UPDATES!

"The Seamless Cup Society" has been chosen to screen at NYC Shorts of All Sorts, in Brooklyn on September 2nd. Looks like a great lineup of films directed by women! Check it out!

"Moonflower" was chosen to screen in September at the Hell Chess Film Festival in Spain; it's a very interesting concept for a fest. There were only six films chosen, so I feel very honoured, indeed, to have been selected! Of my film they said "Moonflower is a very stylish little piece of animation. The classical good taste is what we find more interesting in a world where everything is excessive." Wow! They also took the time to send an email about another film I had submitted that wasn't selected; not a form letter, but an in-depth explanation! There are very few festivals who take the time and effort to do that.
